“I was on a certain travel based reality TV show hosted by a certain bald Yorkshireman. Experience overall was that it was great fun, the exec producers/camerawork/runners working on it were all quite down to earth besides the main producer (who I also believe does love island) who really wanted to push plot lines. I wasn’t very receptive to plot lines so you could see she wasn’t too happy. What I would say is that on these type of shows, I do understand the comradery/sadness when someone leaves - it is weird enough having to vote for people negatively that you’re spending all day with, even if you think they’re a twat. Also the recording hours are very long and so you’re running on about 5 hours sleep which makes everything weirder being constantly mic’d up. Was spotted a few times after it aired a London train station which was strange as I am Joe Bloggs. Plus side was when we got kicked off we went a bit mental on the room service and not sure how but we got away with it, thanks channel 4!”
“Yeah, went on Eggheads about 9 years ago. We’d gone out the night before to a karoake bar in Glasgow and got absolutely smashed, unaware that we were going to be first up on the day of recording. 7.30am getting make up done I was very close to chucking up, but struggled through. Somehow we knocked out 3/4 eggheads in the head to head, and then just got the worst fucking questions in the final round, so sadly no win. Everyone was really nice apart from Judith who was a snooty bitch. Jeremy Vine is a bit of a weirdo but we already knew that.”
