Coloring

“When I started out I used just 1 book even though I bought few more right after I figured out I like adult coloring. I colored 49 pages in that first book, because I wanted to use that book to learn a bit more and experiment with mediums in order to be able to create better results once I switch to another books. Since then I have over 70 books and most are untouched. I have few with around 10 pics and then many more with just 3-5 pics.. or just 1, because I felt like working in an untouched book… When I color, I do not leave WIPs. I want to finish the page before I switch to another book/page. I do not have anything cute & cozy in my collection. I use colored pencils, water-soluble mediums, pastels, markers, pens… and I take my sweet time with details. It takes 10+ hours for a single page.”

“My family has gifted me many books over the past few months but I stick with 2 (a bold & easy and a more detailed one) and color those until completed. I try and color 1 page per night so it’s nice to have a choice between something I really want to put more thought in and work on with details & patterns when I have more time and patience or if I’m feeling lazy & have less time so I just want to stick to basics with a few shadows & highlights.”
