“Recently got to drive my first low rider.. 66 Olds, with hydraulic cylinder over spring for suspension, no accumulators. It rode really stiff and bouncy, as expected. It looked like some pretty beefy springs. The issue was when I took it out onto the highway.. over 55-60mph it felt pretty sketchy when you would hit a bump, like a bridge transition.. definitely had to be alert and hang on to the wheel.”
