Fly a kite

“As it happens, flying a kite is bloody difficult. My wife and I were out there for over an hour and beginning to turn on each other. I was sick of her yelling "make it go higher!" And she was sick of me yelling "why? did you not wanna fly it at knee level." [...] A good blast of wind came the same time we launched and bam! The kite was airborne. It was magnificent. All of the 1 minute that it was up there for. Me having no clue how to fly this thing, was pulling like a mad dog on the handle. It was swooping and all that jazz. My son was in awe.”
