“I have found that getting up 20-30 minutes before I have to (and consequently going to bed 20-30 minutes earlier to accomodate) has helped me tremendously because after I get ready, I have an extra block of time to sit in the kitchen and clear my mind, whether that is through people watching out my window, sipping my coffee and thinking, writing, meditating, reading, or just playing a game on my phone. Maybe "clear my mind" isn't the right word, but more make peace with my ADHD for the day.”
