So I've always been someone with stage fright. But last night. I was really wanting to get up there, I kept going back and forth thinking "Do it! Dont to it! DO IT!" [...] Finally, it was time for me to go up. My heart was beating and I even said "This is my first time, Lets hope I don't embarrass myself!" This one drunk girl came up and sang with me and I fuckin killed it! It probably helped that she came up and helped out.

A couple months ago I started going with one of my friends to a local dive bar for karaoke night—and wow I love it so much. I was so nervous and I had to drink at first, but now I can go I cold sober. [...] And honestly, singing up on a stage and people enjoying your performance? I love it. I can’t believe I’m saying it but I love people loving my singing. I love the act of performing.

The minute we reached there, we got to know that they were hosting a Karaoke night. This was new to us. We all felt a bit awkward and pressured, thinking that we might be forced to sing or something, and we didn’t want that! [...] I sang three songs that night. I was scared to death in the first one. By the time the second one happened, I was more comfortable, and by the third, I was having fun!
