Have front row seats

Whether it's Broadway shows, concerts, or sporting events, front row puts you close enough to see performers' expressions and feel the energy directly. For theater, you might catch actors breaking character or notice staging details invisible from further back. Sports front row means potential interactions with players and foul balls, while concerts let you see guitar fingering and stage banter meant for intimate venues.

βYes, it was close and my neck prefers to sit further back, but there was nothing like a front row experience. You are right there with the performers and can see the little details and nuances in their facial expressions that make it all the more engaging AND they make eye contact with you! These talented stars interact with the front row! They are professionals and can improv a bit with the audience and usually pick from the front (probably because with all of the lights they can only see the faces in the front row). They also seem to want to read your face to get a gage if you are loving their show or not.β
βWhen Chicago was at the Shubert, I often got front-row rush tickets, and now I have a vase of roses that various ladies tossed me over the years. There was one performance where Sandy Duncan and Ruthie Henshall played the entire show right to me at front row center. Iβve never felt anything like it. People around me were pointing and whispering and wondering just who exactly I was β it was that obvious.β
βMy front row experience was with Oh My Girl, who werenβt very well known at the beginning of 2019 (and even now still arenβt as popular as many other girl groups). Add to that the fact that their venue (Fantasy Springs in Indio) had its own ticket sales system, so despite some mishaps on the ticketing platform (did the sale go through? Did I buy three different tickets instead of one?), I wound up with a front row seat, made even cooler by the fact that there was no barrier and pretty lenient security, which meant that us front row people could often walk right up to the lip of the stage and lean on the edge.β
