โ€œLots of nature hiking -- I did forest walks in Andasibe, Ranomafana, Anja Reserve, Isalo, and the Spiny Forest in Ifaty. Lemurs, lemurs everywhere. Got to see a dozen or so species, including the common brown lemur, the ring-tailed lemur, the Indri lemur, the diadem sifaka, the golden bamboo sifaka, the red-footed brown lemur, the red-bellied lemur, and the "grandpa" lemur. Just to name a few. The wildlife didn't stop with lemurs, either -- chameleons, stick bugs, tree frogs, lizards, orchids in bloom, large spiders, and amazing baobab trees were just a few of the amazing flora and fauna that I got to see in Madagascar. The country is totally unique and the wildlife is stunning and never gets boring.โ€

โ€œIn the rainforest camps, a nightly activity is to walk the trails and look for creatures that come out in the evening. This was a wild experience. Our guides would be turning over logs and leaves as all sorts of noises would be heard in the pitch black darkness. Eventually, we would have enough of the night walks and head back to the lodges and hope not too many of these little critters were in our beds.โ€
