Make a Handmade Greeting Card

“Lastly, I want to say that I LOVE spending quality time making my cards, because I find I spend much more time thinking about that person and our relationship. For example, one of my besties and I met in 4th grade — 61 years ago — and we’ve had many, many warm memories. One was crazy dancing to the tune of “Purple People Eater.” You know, “one-eyed, one-horned, wild Purple People Eater…” So while I thought about making a floral card to celebrate our mutual 70th birthdays, instead I made a card with purple aliens coming to Earth to snatch her away to take her to the purple Planet of 70 year-olds, complete with a UFO and flashing lights, etc. She ADORED it!”
