This happened when I was a kid. I used to play hide and seek with my best friend whenever I got bored. and sometimes whenever I hid, I would listen out carefully for her whenever she looked for me. and it made me feel extremely terrified cause she was always silent and showed almost no emotion at all. and she would never speak or anything. but the sound of her opening things and quietly walking along the house would make my heart sink more and more for some reason. probably cause I had an overreactive imagination. but still it was terrifying as hell. Sometimes I would let her win by making noises and would wait for her to find me. and when she did she'd just stare me down until I became the seeker, or would tap me to let me know that she was there. I still felt scared while being the seeker for some reason, cause it would be too quiet or if I didn't find her in time. she'd actually find me to end the game.

I was playing hide and seek with my friends in the school playground (the playground had some buildings, trees and other stuff on its edge with plenty of space to play the game). I'm short sighted and I forgot glasses at home (I was probably in a rush to arrive in time). It was my turn to seek. One of my friend was wearing glasses that he gave to the other guy to wear...and they decided to hide in plain sight. (many other people from other classes were in the ground too) I finished counting and started to seek .I saw them from a distance...but i couldn't properly see their faces tho, so I decided to go near so that i can make sure that it was actually them. I walked towards them...they were talking with each other and they saw me and even made an eye contact.I stopped at a certain distance thinking that they were from a different class and I was like "nevermind" and continued searching them for a long time. I lost that game. we talked and laughed about this later.
