Grab an Oyster card and hop on Route 15 or the vintage Route Master for the full London experience. Sit on the top deck for panoramic views of Big Ben, St. Paul's Cathedral, and bustling street life below - it's like a mobile sightseeing tour for the price of public transport.

โ€œWhen I visited London, that's one of the first things I did. The view was magnificent. I rode the tube once just so I could say I rode the tube but double deckers was the way I moved around the city. I miss it dearly.โ€

โ€œIf you want the bus experience, just go on one of the many tourist "hop on hop off" buses. They go around all the major sights, and give you a nice explanatory commentary. They are VERY common. [...] It's worth it. It's an efficient way to see a lot of London in a day. And you can jump on/off as the mood takes you. Admittedly, it's a very "touristy" thing to do, but I still think it's good. I lived there for ten years, but when friends came to visit, I took them on a bus sightseeing tour. Many times.โ€
