โOn that particular day, I could have strolled up to the airport - seaport? - and boarded two minutes before take-off. After having logged no less than 600+ flights taken, this was not only the first where I was the sole passenger, but also the only one where the pilots asked me "when do you want to depart?โ
โtook a seaplane trip to the fort jefferson island in dry tortugas last week. needless to say it was one of the neatest experiences i've ever had in my life. the best part is we took the afternoon trip, which arrives around 2:40pm which is right when the only boat that goes to the island is leaving with 100+ people on it. there were 10 of us in the plane, plus a few campers on the island. so it was basically deserted.โ
