βYeah 8-5 M-F is such a big adjustment! Also having an hour for lunch is like what do I even do? A whole hour? You mean I donβt have to stand 5 inches from a microwave cramped in the back of a kitchen while scarfing my food down in 3 minutes as multiple people ask me if I can move so they can use the microwave??????β
βThe first bad experience I had with one was on a Friday night, one of the busiest nights of the week. The worker came in and was told that it would take about ten minutes for his order to be ready. When this food was not ready, he became upset and began yelling at me for βnot doing my job right,β and βmaking him wait so long.β Then he screamed at me as he kicked the door open with the food in his hand.β
βThe biggest thing I learned when I was feeling rushed and overwhelmed was to take my time. If I rushed, I would 100% make a mistake. I learned to remind myself that the rush would soon be over. The problems would be fixed, and the world would not end.β
