Capture the current weather's mood, sensation, and beauty in the traditional Japanese three-line format of 5-7-5 syllables, focusing on concrete imagery rather than abstract feelings. Look outside and notice specific details - the way rain hits windows, how sunlight filters through clouds, or the sound wind makes through trees.

βI wrote this as I reflected on the weather on this February day in the Pacific Northwest, perfect for nesting inside, but, there are things to do, places to go. I appreciated a sense of ease as I sat to write a haiku describing a scene from my afternoon. Today: chilly, gray Wind bites, rain comes, goes Still, folks come out, smile and playβ
βWhere I live we have recently gotten a wave of nice weather, in like the 70s/80s, along with some nice sunshine. This is wonderful and i love going outside when itβs like this. Unfortunately, this also means that the trees and every other plant on godβs green earth have decided to unleash all their pollen upon the world. Everything is yellow. My car, the ground, any surface outsideβ¦ Thereβs even visible clouds of pollen in the air. Itβs insane. However, because of this I became inspired to write a haiku. Here it is: 2ζγγ ζ₯γ«γͺγγ¨γ θ±η²γγ Around February When spring comes Too much pollenβ
βI wrote mine recalling the sense of being out in very cold weather and the message nature seemed to be conveying to me was "go find warmth", "there is none here", "I'm not the season for it", etc. It felt like a very sudden obvious and direct message based on how cold it was.β
