βBeing the maid of honor, on the awaited wedding day, I was so overwhelmed myself that I did not know what to do other than ensuring my sister was happy with everything and telling her how beautiful she was. I greatly enjoyed helping my sister get ready and helping her add all the perfect little touches to complete her look. She was truly the most beautiful bride! When it came time to walk down the aisle of the church and my sister was about to become a wife, I was speechless. I was overcome with emotion that all I could do was give her hand a squeeze to let her know I, along with everyone else, was here for her and so happy for her. My other sister and I tag teamed making sure her dress and veil were bustled and fluffed to perfection throughout the entire day! Finally, the last thing I had to do on the actual wedding day as maid of honor, was just have fun and dance the night away with her and everyone else to celebrate this joyous event.β
βBeing maid of honor, meant I had to write a speech. I literally worked on this speech for months because I wanted it to be absolutely perfect. I went through the process of typing, deleting, typing, deleting, and of course the inevitable writer's block. I was so nervous that it wouldnβt be funny or sentimental enough, too long, too short, and that I would be nervous to speak in front of everyone.β
