βSo letβs get real. 30-90 seconds is a long time to be boiled alive! Iβd rather be stabbed in the brain, but sadly then we would have to forfeit the tender delicious meatβ¦ What to do? Weβll in school we boiled her alive. Probably because itβs a traditional French school. Anyway she died within 30 seconds or so, which seemed super long to me. I crossed myself. (Old Catholics die hard.) I could hear the squealing of steam escaping from her shell as I silently asked forgiveness for my participation.β
