“Wanted to create/share a quick guide for planning your next trip to Cabo based on my experiences as someone visiting from the United States including prices & what to expect from start to end: While Uber is available in Cabo to get dropped off at the airport, you're not able to get picked up from the airport. Instead one other option then is to book a shared/private shuttle. I used TransCabo & was charged ~25$ per person for a shared shuttle. I estimate I had about a 20 minute overhead because of the shared aspect as there were a few people who had to be dropped off before us. One thing Cabo specific to watch out for is the confusing way conversion rates are presented. Once you specify the amount to withdraw you might see a screen like following. What this is basically asking you is if you want to use this particular conversion offered by some local bank over your own bank. Typically its much worse than your bank. You should just click decline conversion rate here to use your own bank's rate. For the most part even small restaurants & stores seemed to be accepting credit card even for the smallest amounts. Where I did need cash is the odd cash only restaurant/for booking some tours or renting things at the beach. My least favorite beach because while its the most accessible from marina area its super overdeveloped & only a small slither of the beach is accessible the public. Majority of the beach front area is taken up by huge swathes of beach chairs/umbrellas set up by various resorts/restaurants.”
