“We then went to 2 cenotes in the area. Not the one at the site, but nearby. I chose basically by pictures of stalactites, and was very happy with my choices- Palomitas and XCANAHALTUN. Both very lovely: Palomitas was warmer and I liked the stalagmites in XCANAHALTUN. For an archaeology and geology nerd like me, it was heaven.”
