Last night my husband and I went to a Star Wars themed costume party thrown by one of his close friends. There were about 30 people there in all kinds of Star Wars attire, a super fun party and idea. At the urging of my husband and the other couple we went with, I went in the Princess Leia bikini costume. (I resemble Carrie Fisher, I get that.) It was more revealing than I probably would have planned on my own, but it was an adult party and it was all in good fun. Or so I thought. Two women there, including the wife who was throwing the party, evidently thought it was too revealing for that group, and made a snide comment to the couple we came with. To their credit they defended me, and let me know about it on the ride home.
