Experience the ultimate in fresh seafood at Japan's legendary fish markets like Tsukiji or local morning markets. The sashimi is cut from fish that may have been swimming hours earlier, offering flavors and textures impossible to find elsewhere. Visit early morning when the selection is best and the energy is electric.

โFrom the moment I knew Tsukiji Fish Market would be part of our itinerary, a sashimi rice bowl was already my target, especially since sashimi was my favorite Japanese food even before my first trip to Japan. They say youโll find the freshest seafood here so I thought the best way to experience that was through a sashimi bowl. It did not disappoint! I thought the sashimi I had tried before was already the best. I didnโt know it could still get better.โ
