“There’s this abandoned military facility nearby I wanted to explore my whole life. Now I’m there regularly, and at other lost places, with permission, because we do training there and while it’s definitely less thrilling, it’s not one bit less interesting and such a good feeling to be able to explore everything at your pace without any consequences”

“I feel you. The only times I’ve ever been granted permission were by coincidence. First time was by a demolition crew who was just beginning to take out light fixtures, and the second time was here, where I ran into a worker moving pallets. I knew they were there working so I entered the door and approached them nicely. All they said was to be careful in the basement as there was exposed asbestos (I kinda don’t believe that).”
