β€œI’m not usually one for pedicures as I hate my feet and feel sorry for anyone who has to touch them, but my therapist Jodie made me feel very comfortable and did a great job at transforming my toes! Jodie removed my current chipped varnish that had been long overdue and started the relaxing experience by soaking my feet in a hot pool of water. After coming back from holiday and having my feet exposed in sandals all the time I didn’t realise I had so much dry dead skin that was begging to be removed. Jodie exfoliated the bottom of my feet with a skin brush and then applied a cool, soothing menthol mask for rehydration. I was then treated with a moisturising foot massage relieving all the tension I had acquired from lots of heavy walking, restoring my tired feet. She applied two coats of colour and a finishing top coat. I was even given free flip flops to walk around the rest of the day while they dried. Love my new toes!”

β€œWhen I arrived, I was greeted with a glass of iced tea, my chair was ready and waiting for me, and the receptionist directed me to the slew of Essie polishes to choose my favorite shade. Soon after, my aesthetician arrived and directed me to sit in the chair and submerge my feet in the bubbly warm water. The pedicure began as most do β€” removing the old polish, cleaning and shaping the nails, and exfoliating the heels and other rough spots. But there was one obvious and immediate differenceβ€”every, single, item she used was 100% brand new. I actually saw her remove new pieces from the original packaging and she put together the pieces of a new emery board and the heel scrubber right in front of me. My absolutely favorite part about the spa pedicure was the paraffin treatment. If you’ve never had one, they heat up wax in a plastic bag and then stick your feet in the bags. The hot wax surrounds and sticks to your feet. Then she wrapped a towel around my feet, so both feet were swaddled in wax and a warm towel. It was so relaxing and soothing!”

β€œI got my first pedicure just a few days ago. I wanted to treat myself so I want to a relatively fancy spa style venue and booked the ultimate pedicure (just without polish, no shame, just not my look). The pedicure itself was great. I'm really ticklish so the scrubbing had me laughing, but otherwise a totally relaxing and indulgent experience. My tech than grabbed a few towels and brought out what I can only describe to be a giant makeup brush. She explained that my feet still had some dust on them and proceeded to dust my feet with this brush. It tickled like crazy! I did my best to power thru and keep my giggling to a minimum but it lasted like 2-3 min / foot!! My feet feel absolutely amazing (and look really nice) but I'm still so confused as to the "massage" at the end.”
