โ€œI (22m) just went to a concert alone for the first time ever yesterday and it went alot better than i expected it to. I was kinda nervous bc i always feel like i stand out at social events, especially when im by myself, but a band i REALLY wanted to see was coming to the city near me so i decided to bite the bullet and go by myself. In line i ended up meeting this chill dude who i smoked with, and it turned out he goes to my school, so that was pretty cool. I ended up loosing him once we were inside, but when i got to the pit I ended up switching places with a girl who was also there alone so that she could see better, and we ended up talking for a little bit until some drunk idiot decided to stand right between us so we werent able to talk anymore. But then i ended up talking to a guy with a really dope accent between the bands.โ€

โ€œJust did it last night actually. I love doing it because I don't have to worry about saving a spot for someone if it's GA, carpooling, and having to babysit them because I'm the responsible one in our friend group. Plus, none of my friends like my kind of music anyway, and I can't tell they're not having a good time. It's overall really stressful to go with other people in my opinion. While I wish I did have friends to go with, I've never felt bad about going alone. It's quite liberating to have the confidence of just doing things by yourself.โ€

โ€œI went to my first concert alone yesterday and at first I was worried and nervous I made a mistake but halfway through I was having way too much much to even think about it or the time flying by. Also it was so freeing 10/10 would and am doing againโ€
