Start with simple card tricks or coin tricks that you can master in an hour, then perform for each other with dramatic flair. The fun comes from the learning process and the silly performances rather than achieving professional-level skill. YouTube tutorials make this surprisingly accessible, and even failed attempts create great entertainment.

People who tried this
โThis was it, the moment Iโd been building towards. I hadnโt practiced with proper soap. My heart was pounding. Would it even work? Would the huge crowd be disappointed? I paused for a second and reminded myself that no matter how this turned out, I had definitely accomplished something. Not much, but something. [...] Low and behold, it didnโt really separate. It looked more or less the exact same as the washing up liquid experiment. The crowd was suitably underwhelmed. Embarrassed, I thanked them for their attendance. All three of them willingly went back to work.โ
โToday I showed my invisible deck trick the first time (I'm new to magic) and while I practiced at home everything was perfect and the first try was perfect, then he wanted to see it again so I turned around and said that I would turn over another card, he told me his new card and not only could you see that there were cards between because I didn't apply enough pressure, I also was to dumb to subtract his number from 13 and did it to 15, so I gave him, with the most confidence I could bring up, the wrong card (and because I was so nervous about the cards in between it was also the wrong suit, fml)โ
