βThank you so much! I had my grand plan going into it similar to what u/notabigmelvillecrowd described, but things quickly went south in execution. We sat down and ate the first three courses together, then moved to the kitchen where I got the last two courses ready. It felt more like a two-part meal, but worked out nicely since I involved my other human in the kitchen during the break (which had been my backup plan). We then went back to the table for our last two courses.β
βThis weekβs Celebrity Chefs theme from r/52weeksofcooking inspired me to cook a fancy 5-course meal as a belated Valentineβs Day dinner. All dishes are based off Gordon Ramsayβs recipes. Researching and planning the meal took hours, sourcing the ingredients took hours, and cooking took hours. All in all, it was quite the effort and Iβm left with a newfound appreciation for course meal cooking.β
