β€œMy husband absolutely insisted that I give him a tattoo. Despite me telling him I didn’t feel I was ready (I just started learning 3 weeks ago ) [...] I was literally shaking I was so nervous (and it shows). I will say, skin is sooooo much different than the fake skins. Skin takes ink a lot easier. Unfortunately that also made it more difficult to know if I was going deep enough. I figured it was better to err on the side of caution rather than risking a blowout. I can’t see how you can really learn proper depth without practicing on real skin. All in all, it was nice to at least get the feel of how real skin feels. But, I think I’ll stick with my practice skins for a while until I can train my hand to be more steady.”
