βBut as I began planning, and writing an itinerary, and figuring out travel distance between locations I wanted to visit and how to fit in sunsets on the beach with infrared sauna sessions with yoga and spin classes, I realized I was still completely overwhelmed and the point of the trip was becoming obsolete. [...] I needed to let the trip plan itself. [...] But here I was, on a beach in California, with barely any working internet, a 4 page to-do list, and no desire to to any of it. So I trusted myself to have fun and still get work done, but to not stress.β
βThe thing is, in about a month I have a trip planned. I planned it last year and everything is already paid for. The problem isβ¦ I donβt want to go. Iβm depressed, I feel completely apathetic, and honestly Iβd rather just stay in my room. But at the same time, itβs already paid for. And it was my dream destination for so longβ¦ but I would have to travel a lot to get there. I donβt even like traveling, I mean I can see it from my computer. On top of that, traveling a lot has triggered hypomania for me before. This trip would mean taking two flights and three buses in one week.β
