“My wife and I just got back from our honeymoon about a week ago at Sandals La Toc. We went on the horseback excursion that included a ride in the ocean. We don't recommend it. It's not that fun or scenic. First the beginning of the ride isn't through trails or really in your control. You ride through paved roads in residential neighborhoods. Only about an eighth of the ride is on a trail before you reach the beach. Then the guides walk along the horses and constantly yell from the front and back for everyone to stay in a single file line on one side of the road. When you do finally reach the beach, it's dirty and full of trash. They let you off at a small building to hang out while they take one couple at a time out in the ocean, meanwhile the guy inside the building won't let up trying to get you to come inside and buy something. Then you finally get to go out on these tiny horses, bareback, that you can't balance on and they only take you out for a hot second, turn you around and bring you right back to the beach.”
