Watch limestone pillars rise from the Southern Ocean along the Great Ocean Road, where wind and waves have sculpted these giant sea stacks over 20 million years. Only seven 'apostles' remain standing, making each visit unique as erosion slowly claims these natural monuments—helicopter tours offer the best perspective of their massive scale.

“Down the road was access to the beach where we could see some of the formations up close. It was a little unnerving walking by the undercut cliffs knowing that these limestone rocks can sometimes fall from above. Seeing these formations from the shore was even more awe inspiring. I stood looking for a while waiting to see if any of them would fall into the sea. You can really see the cracks forming and how precarious some of the pieces are sitting.”
“With the weather being as poor as it was, I was just hoping we would be able to see the rocks in the distance. After a short walk, we reached the viewing platform and wow, it was as incredible of a view as I was hoping for! Stunning! We were both locked in our place before we continued on the walkway. It was a massive display of rocks and the waves were incredibly powerful.”
