βEverytime I make eye contact with someone. I remember when I was about 13 and I was walking down the road and I smiled at an older lady and she stopped me and asked βdo I know you?β I replied βno why?β She said βyou smiled at me and you didnβt know me. Thatβs a lovely way to live, continue doing itβ. That has stayed with me and now I always smile at people in public. Even if your feeling down, smiling at someone else could make their day so much better!β
βoh my god this, i remember i was walking back home from a cafe and i have this habit of smiling at people if i make eye contact with them. i smiled at a guy who looked a few years older than me, and continued walking, he was walking the other way around btw. but after a while when i turned i noticed this guy literally FOLLOWING me and i was super confused, and then he approached me and asked me if i'd go out with him like...i was so baffledβ
