โ€œI just returned from a road trip with my partner and his mom to visit his family in Southern Saskatchewan, Canada. The timing for the trip could not have been better to truly capture the incredible yellow fields of canola and mustard currently in bloom. We first saw the yellow start to show itself as we left the farm on Canada Day (July 1) while heading to our nearby town of Wainwright, Alberta, to participate in festivities. We noticed it not only because of its yellow color but also because of the dark grey sky that it was juxtaposed against. I made Chris stop and pull over so that I could capture the moment. I was excited then as I knew that we were about to enter a beautiful time of year, but I underestimated just how incredible it could get until we drove into Saskatchewan.โ€
