β€œYesterday was the first time I attended the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, and it was such a beautiful and wonderful experience! Most of the tulips are in full bloom and displaying their brilliant colors. There were also beautiful fields of daffodils, a chicken coop, and alpacas (that was a big surprise)! While the morning was chilly, a hot apple cider made it all the more enjoyable while casually strolling along the fields and taking tons of photos from all sorts of angles. I was really concerned about how bad the traffic and crowds would be, but it was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting. Why? I arrived just shortly after 8am (left Cap Hill at 7am), and there was NO traffic, NO lines, and far fewer people than when I left at 11am. It was such a pleasant early morning before the masses arrived by mid-morning.”

β€œDuring an unexpected trip south, while stressed, I quietly strolled through the Skagit Valley tulip fields. I intentionally bypassed all the official tulip festival activities and instead chose to view the free tulip fieldsβ€”an old childhood habit. Hardly a soul was around. It was good medicine.”
