“My husband and I did an excursion from Venice to Murano in August 2009 that included a glass blowing tour but the glass blowing portion was maybe 20 minutes at best, probably less. We saw an artisan working on one piece and doing a small relatively touristy demonstration, we walked through a factory, and the rest of the time in Murano was spent browsing finished pieces and encouraging us to shop.”
