“I felt like in AFF yet again, kind of "back to square one, but on a new level". Learning to fly in a new way, with old reflexes getting in the way - now including some reflexes from normal jumps. But, unlike AFF, I'm on my own in the air, there's no one but me to fix my mistakes if I fuck up, and I know there will be mistakes.”

“Speaking of cutaways... Woo-hoo, line twists! Two times in a row. The first one was not so bad, but the second one - my instructor saw me opening and was already preparing to follow my canopy when I cut away. And yet I didn't. I don't know how many twists I had, more than 10, probably. My head was spinning when I finally untwisted, but I pulled high, and there was more than enough height left to land according to the plan.”
