βBefore this, I had never attempted to make bread before, and I am by no means a baker. But after seeing sourdough (successes and failures) plastered all over TikTok I needed to give it a try. I started this process from scratch, hereβs how it went! [...] Finally after 8 days of creating a sourdough starter and 12 hours of shaping, proofing and bulk fermenting, it was time to bake my sourdough loaves. This was the quickest part of the whole process but also the scariest. I didnβt know if my sourdough loaves had turned out until I took the lid offβ¦β
βI've never made anything from scratch so I'm pretty pleased with myself. My ass is going to get a little fatter but oh well it tastes SO GOOD. I never want to buy bread again. [...] No, just made the most basic bread ever since I wasn't sure I was going to succeed. It wasn't hard at all, I was very surprised. It is a bit time consuming considering you have to let the dough rise twice before baking. I may have had a little too much fun punching it down after the first rise.β
βWell, I donβt have any experience but I can tell you the bread was delicious-it was spongy but I wouldnβt call it light. Hearty is a good work to describe it. It was delicious-and the house smelled fabulous-and isnβt that the point of making your own bread?β
