“I didn’t have time to waste at a hair salon though. I needed this change ASAP. And there, waiting for me like my own personal Jesus at the back of a year-round Halloween shop, I saw her. I saw the wig that would turn me into a sexy, ambitious, well-balanced Goddess. I saw the wig that would finally bathe me in light. And fuck, how beautiful that light was. As soon as I became a Chosen Blonde One, I could feel the change immediately. On my way home from the Halloween store, my car was running low on gas, so I stopped by the nearest station to refill. A man in a nearby truck offered to do it for me. And to pay! And then gave me two free movie tickets to a showing of Finding Dory! He said I didn’t have to take him though, I could take anyone I wanted. Nice guy.”
