βToday our trainer made us climb stairs. By the end of 10 flights I was a sweaty, wheezing mess. But I pushed myself and did it. I climbed 30 flights of stairs. My legs are shaking as I type this. I know it will get easier the more I do it. But Iβm so proud of myself and the fact that Iβm even able to complete the climb.β
βI havenβt exercised for a year. Just been a sloth. I have been quite down and full of anxiety for a while now. Recently I just had enough. Decided if I hate going to the gym I should start something. So I started taking the stairs at work. 10 flights of stairs - 2x a day. It sure gets me winded. [...] I can feel the burn in my legs and butt and that counts for something.β
βMy proudest moment however was when I noticed I no longer get chest pains when climbing up the stairs. If I can, I avoid using lifts and elevators and just walk. Over the weekend I climbed over 10 flights of stairs and was so happy.β
