โI made a mutton tagine for the first time and it was delicious. However the tagine pot itself burnt at the bottom, charring some of the food. It didn't spoil this particular dish but I need to learn how to use it properly. The tagine was brand new and I used a gas stove on the lowest heat. I cooked the food for about half an hour when it was a 2 hour recipe. It was cooked through but obviously something is up that I need to fix. Well aware that these dishes work best when cooked for longer.โ
