“TLDR: I am spreading some Lego-style holiday cheer by donating all these sets to toy drives in my local area. The Longer Version: As a kid I remember Lego bringing me such joy and sparking my imagination. Whether it was my own random builds or being surprised at the subtle details in a set (e.g. trap door in Forbidden Island...anyone?...anyone?) I think Lego will always hold a special place in my heart. Now that I am an adult I'm hoping to bring some of that same excitement to kids who otherwise might not have access to Lego sets. I'm not affiliated with any charity or organization, just a guy who enjoys Lego and is hoping to spread some holiday cheer. In case you're curious, all of these sets were bought on clearance at various times throughout the year. It started with finding a few of the in-store Walmart clearances from r/legodeal and grew from there. It involved several inaccurate Brickseek searches, lots of shelf searching at random stores, being stopped by Target security (guess a guy with a cart full of Lego is suspicious), and most importantly, a very understanding wife.”
