Turn beach walks into meaningful workouts by picking up litter as you go. The constant bending, reaching, and carrying provides surprising exercise while making beaches beautiful for everyone. You'll be amazed how much trash you find and how accomplished you feel afterward.

โThis was my first beach cleanup and we did it without the group. It was hot. I got badly sunburned. My back and legs hurt after a couple hours. BUT it was worth it and I didnt know I would want to keep going. We filled the bags we had and called it a day. Learned a lot! Will definitely sunscreen up next time. Will definitely bring water and hydrate. I hope it kickstarts others--! I will definitely be back out there again, once my back isnt burned heheโ
โI dont like seeing dead birds on the sand with trash next to where parents are taking their young babies to see the beach for the first time. Not how the beach should be...! Most common and frustrating things I picked up by hand were small pieces of broken plastic and pieces of styrofoam. I also found some random wooden boards, a boot, a large plastic tarp sheet, and lots of plastic bottle caps.โ
โTHe little bits of plastic were hard to get so a lot of it I did on my hands and knees with gloves b/c the grabber couldnt get the microplastic pieces. I know that section should be good but theres a lot more to go. I will be back out again as soon as I canโ
