People who tried this

I joined a book club my cousin started. At first I loved it. We had ladies of all different ages and backgrounds so people’s interpretations and perceptions were different with how they grew up. It was really interesting. Then it became a drinking thing. I was not necessarily friends with these ladies they were acquaintances other than a couple. So I got annoyed I was buying a book reading it and then no one else read it. I took the time and money just to hang out and drink. I decided if I wanted to hang out and drink I want to do that with my friends. Not girls I’m not friends with and I stopped going. I enjoyed it in the beginning we each brought a appetizer and whatever we wanted to drink. We would take turns alphabetically of who picked the book. Sone books were terrible, some were so good and if I didn’t read them in book club I never would have picked them myself.
