Swimming in cascading turquoise pools connected by travertine waterfalls, where each level offers a different swimming experience from gentle wading to deeper diving spots. The park's network of wooden walkways lets you explore without damaging the delicate limestone formations, and the water stays refreshing even in summer heat. Unlike crowded Plitvice, Krka allows swimming and offers a more intimate experience with Croatia's natural beauty.

β€œWe arrived just as the ferry was about to set off, and found the last few spots up on the bow of the crowded boat. Once you dock, you’ll hear the waterfall before you can see it. This part of the park is pretty self-explanatory: there is an hour-long loop that follows paths and boardwalks connecting all the little islands and emerald pools.”

β€œWhile absolutely gorgeous, we covered the whole trail in about two hours, walking at a chill pace and stopping half-an-hour to eat a sandwich. We couldn’t even take the boat to explore Visovac and RoΕ‘ki slap in the north of the park because for some reason it wasn’t running that day. So there we were, out of trails to walk and with around five hours to wait before the next bus back to Ε ibenik.”

β€œRegardless, we continued forward to the Skradinski buk waterfall, one of Krka’s most spectacular sights. From there, a paved path continues around a beautiful lake and up along the waterfalls, offering some absolutely breath-taking views of the waterfalls crashing below.”
