Since there are 325 pages of material, I have decided to cover ten pages per week. During these past few weeks, I have been learning polite phrases, common words & phrases, and prepositions. For the first week, I had a lot of motivation to stay on my schedule. Knowing that I was about to immerse myself into the language I have always wanted to learn was exciting. I was going beyond what most people have learned: the ability to actually communicate with words and phrases, not just the individual letters themselves. During the second week, I found it almost routine and automatic in my day to learn ASL. It also helped that during this week, it was Thanksgiving break, so I had more time to dedicate on my learning.
