Learn how to drive on the highway

“i’m 17, almost 18. my parents never really let me drive on the highway and i haven’t done so since i was learning to drive, so i don’t have much experience and tend to get anxious, most likely due to lack of guidance/experience . i was heading home last night and figured traffic would be light, so i decided to try the highway. i made it home just fine, and my anxiety was practically nonexistent after i merged on. this is big for me, since i used to legitimately go out of my way to avoid taking highways”
