People who tried this

β€œSome time last year, T decided to buy materials so that I could make candles on my own. He bought soy wax, wicks, essential oils and dyes. I had never β€œfound the time” to do it until Lorraine mentioned that she was into scented candles as well. We decided to do it one Saturday afternoon. [...] Note to self: should put more drops of the essential oils in for the scents to be stronger. I thought that we had put enough in but apparently not because the smell faded a bit after the candle cooled down. We also tried mixing the primary colors to create secondary ones! That was fun. At the end of our session, we had 2 candles each – so pretty!”

β€œHi !! I'm Tasha, and I've created my first candle EVER, and boy oh boy - It was the MOST fun I've had in so long ! [...] my 1st candle - multiple mistakes happened. The most important one being that I wasn't measuring my candle temperature right - I never stirred before measuring, so I had a lot of hot and cold pockets where the temp would vastly change (5-6 Celsius) depending where I moved the thermometer, and I wasn't conssitently measuring in the same spot. Because of this, I'm like 99% certain my recordings of what the temp Actual was for everything was incorrect.”
