โ€œWas supposed to be 9am to 9pm but really ended around 5pm, which I was slightly disappointed about since I wanted the full hackathon experience. In hindsight though, it was perfect for a first-timer. They had snacks throughout (both healthy and sugary options), pizza after presentations, and a little awards show where every team got an award. There was even a professional photographer for LinkedIn posts and social media. The workspace was really impressive - big, colorful, clean, with plenty of charging stations and presentation areas. I was genuinely surprised something like this was happening in Dublin, especially since I only found out about it by chance. There was a cute little award ceremony where every team got an award which was nice. In fact the whole event was very low stakes and non competitive. Just good vibes and co-operation.โ€

โ€œI was very excited because it was my first offline hackathon. I woke up little early on that day. It took 3โ€“4 hours to reach Bangalore. We had our breakfast in afternoon. Finally reached the hackathon place at around 1.30 pm. Registered and verified our team. Got our participant ID with some goodies and snacks. I didnโ€™t know anything about the project technically. But I understood the plan and tried to learn from what my seniors are doing and how they are building it from zero. I told them to give me some small tasks in between and helped to the project. But honestly I didnโ€™t do much and the whole project was built by both of my seniors. At 5 in the morning, I was not feeling well so slept for some time till 8. But my teammates didnโ€™t sleep even for a single minute. They made another simple project as a backup. Then we had Pav Baji for the breakfast.โ€
