Create a recurring social tradition by organizing monthly gatherings with consistent dates, rotating hosts, and clear expectations about food, drinks, and games. Start with a small core group and establish house rules for your chosen activity - whether it's themed dinners, bunco dice games, or poker nights. The key is consistency and making everyone feel welcome to participate.

βThat first night in December of 2014 when we all sat down around my table, looking awkwardly at each other in that WHAT IS THIS kind of way? That was the first night we met each other. It was the start of our collective food-based friendship [...] As a result of spending the last two years sharing meals and stories and laughter together, this group acted as our first responders when things fell apart.β
βLast week I hosted my very first βBunco Night.β For those of you who donβt know, bunco is basically the womanβs alternative to poker night- itβs a fast paced dice game. (Actually, itβs really just a thinly-veiled excuse to go out, hang out and chill out.) [...] Of course, the alcohol was flowing and that always helps at any party. I had plenty of red, white and white zin on hand and also served sangria for something different. I take the fifth on how many bottles were opened, but letβs just say it was a fun night!β
