โI was more excited than nervous, which for me was a big win (when I asked for tips, one of my biggest fears was to let the nerves ruing everything). I started in 5th position but I quickly let others pass me from the beginning. I didn't want to be involved in the mess I anticipated would be the first curve, so I stayed back and passed all the cars that had an accident in the beginning. For the rest of the race, I focused on my own car and in running well without causing any trouble to anyone else. Whenever someone approached me, I assumed they were battling with someone else and let them pass quickly. But after letting them pass, I immediately tried to mimic their path on the track, when to slow down, when to open... By doing this I was able to keep their pace and sometimes even make them nervous to the point of making mistakes and me passing them.โ
