โOnce there my friends and I would race our cars for what seemed like hours. But it was only minutes before the batteries died, or when we broke something on one of the cars. Then right home for repairs, or if we were lucky just to recharge. Then straight back to the track. Rinse and repeat until the sun went down.โ
โWent with a couple friends, took my sc5m that i bought used in the fall and havent run very much. A friend loaned me a couple tires that were more suitable to the track. My friend took tq in heat 1, i was in heat 2, apparently so were all the fast guys. It was incredible just how much faster they were. I came in last in the B main, exactly where i expected to be my first time out, but wasnt discouraging because if i had just been a little more careful and not made dumb mistakes i could have held my own.โ
โI got my first nitro RC (nitro slash) and needed a good place to run it for a few hours while I did the break in process. I chose a feeder path to a bigger biking path that isn't very busy. I chose this place because there is an industrial park on one side and the public works on the other, it's long and straight and nobody to piss off with the noise. I was there for about 2 hours and maybe 5-6 bikes road past during that time. Every time someone was going by I would pull over and wait for them to pass. [...] Otherwise I had a great day with my first nitro rc.โ
