DC's cherry blossom season transforms the city into a pink wonderland, with over 3,000 trees blooming around the Tidal Basin and throughout the city. The peak bloom lasts only about a week, usually in late March or early April, creating a magical but fleeting spectacle. Arrive early morning to avoid crowds and catch the soft light filtering through the blossoms.

People who tried this
βI went outside, biking down to the Tidal Basin to take in the sights with the hundreds of other people who had the same idea. The blossoms donβt last very long, which is part of the reason for the frenzy around them, and they are both abundant and fragile in a way that fills me with panic and awe about being alive.β
